What is the preparation?

4 weeks prior - begin your homecare

2 weeks prior - in-studio customized prep peel

What post-treatments can I have?

Day 2 -4 the 1 hour soothe & hydrate facial is a winner! Day 30 & day 60 our Rejuvenate & repair supports your skin.

What to expect post-treatment?

The usual as the initial phases are underway. Day 3 - 7 Expect heavy peeling, redness, swelling, warm, light pigment darkening before it lifts off, stinging or burning sensation. Everyone is very different, the more hydrated and prepped the skin is the better.

What to expect 3 - 6 months post-treatment?

I love this phase as your skin rejuvenates and restores. You’ll notice major improvements, you will have a glowing complexion, although magic is still happening under the skin. It’s common for pigment to peak in areas and lift off again.

What happens if I don’t use Cosmelan #2 post-treatment?

We are realists & very transparent in studio; you will go back to square one. This cream is imperative & an integral part of the programs minimum 6 months post.

Who can’t have Cosmelan?

Pregnancy or breastfeeding, sunburnt, cold sores, open wounds, undergoing any radiation or chemotherapy, please wait 6 months post oral isotretinoin, history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring.

Why does it look like pigment has returned for some clients in the 6 months post?

Don’t worry it hasn’t. The pigment is deep under the surface, so it’s common to draw it up day 30, 60, and 90. This is where you entrust the journey & it will lighten and remove off.

Are there additional products I can use to support my skin?

Absolutely, no one likes downtime so we have specific additional products we can incorporate for a boost of hydration or to soothe if needed.

What does the treatment time frame look like?

Now this is super important to follow protocol for 6 months post, you have all your homecare and its imperative you keep to the program, as pigmentation is a lot deeper than just what you see, so we need to keep supporting the skin on a daily basis. this is easy as each day you have more and more clarity and the products are amazing.

I’m a bit nervous of the peel can I just use Cosmelan #2 cream?
